#RefugeesWelcome
A Christmas Fundraiser for Afghan Refugees
Supporting International Rescue Committee
and The Northern California Soft Landing Fund
Over 4000 Afghan refugees are settling in the Bay Area.
Since September 2021, tens of thousands of Afghan refugees have begun resettling in the United States. They need your generosity to help them start their new lives in America.
During the Christmas season, we’re collecting donations to support rent and resources.
Your gift will go directly towards providing both emergency rent assistance and household necessities, which are vital to the safety and well-being of new refugee families when they need it most.
As a Sanctuary Church, we are committed to walking alongside our most vulnerable neighbors. We hope you will join us in giving and spreading the word.
Here’s what your gift will support.

The Soft Landing Fund
Emergency temporary housing and rental support is the highest need in the resettlement of Afghan evacuees. The IRC’s Afghan Soft Landing Fund covers temporary housing, rent, & utility assistance. The IRC has resettled more than 16,000 Afghan refugees since 2006.
Resources for Refugees
Newly resettled families are in need of basic necessities for their households. Your gift will support the purchase of these items, including Amazon gift cards, vacuum cleaners, dishware, bedding, and more.
Help us spread the word.
