Join us Wednesdays at 7:30pm.
We all need a moment to rest, reflect, and recharge. Downtime is an evening gathering where we work with guided & silent meditation, listen to music, hear reflective readings, and spend time unwinding in the middle of our weeks.
This is not an explicitly Christian meditation space, though we often work with words and songs from the Christian tradition.
Visit us for Downtime Meditation at 25 Lake Street in San Francisco.
Upcoming Gatherings
Here’s what to expect.
—
Gathering (7:30-7:45):
As we gather, take a moment to unwind by journaling, coloring, lighting candles, or engaging with any of our reflective activities.
Meditation Practice (7:45-8:30)
At around 7:45pm, we’ll begin our meditation time.
• Listening: We’ll start with a short piece of music.
• Following: Then, we’ll enter into a guided meditation to center ourselves with our breath and gratitude.
• Silence: Next, we’ll spend 15-20 minutes in silent centering prayer.
Departing
We’ll close our time together with a short reading. Afterwards, you can spend time in the chapel in contemplation or conversation.
